The 2016 Summer Concerts on the Common season has started. The PMA will be selling concessions during the event to raise money for the Norwood Music Program. This summer the program is sponsoring over 70 students going to Music Camp in Maine. The Camp help these students prepare their shows for the coming fall performance season.
Come on down to the town common and enjoy the show, buy an ice cream or popcorn, relax and support your local students.

Sunday Evenings 7 pm – 9 pm
This year marks the 23rd season of summer concerts that are held on Sunday evenings between 7 pm and 9 pm at the Walter J. Dempsey Memorial Bandstand on the Norwood Town Common. The series features “old fashioned” music such as marches, swing and jazz. Our concerts are a wonderful summer series that draw crowds from our own town as well as our neighbors from surrounding towns. It is a great feeling to see so many people of all ages enjoying the music on a warm Sunday evening.
