Motion made and seconded to approve the meeting minutes of May 2019:

- Treasurer’s Report: Tracey Jones
- Reviewed transactions from May events (POPs concert, etc.)
- May carwash took in $1,450; June carwash took in $1,720

- Vice President’s Report: Patrick Marquis
- Happy to report middle school spring concerts are a wrap
- Ways & Means: Janice, Kristen, & Marcia
- Reviewed design for marching band 2019 show shirt; those present voted on color preference
- Will set up order form for parents, staff, kids, and will sell at Norwood Day
- Norwood Day & Summer POPs Town Concert
- We are definitely doing both (likely dates: Town POPs 7/28; Norwood Day 9/7)
- POPs BBQ like we did last year
- Norwood Day BBQ – we get half of common for space; can we sell merch located near the food, and therefore won’t need a booth on the street
- Need a sign-up sheet for BBQ help for both events
- Kids’ Volunteer Opportunities (Tri-M, community service, etc.)
- Need to plan ways to get kids to volunteer all through the year; need to manage their assignments at events to optimize work hours
- Need to encourage kids to come to the common to listen to music and help out at tables
- Music Camp
Camp forms due Thursday, 6/13 at MB rehearsal
- Student Fine Arts Liaison: Sarah Jackson, Tea Caravello
- Let’s get ball rolling on jackets.
- Marching Band
- MB Classic is at NHS on October 20, 2019
- This is Tracey’s last year as MB Classic Coordinator; need to recruit someone to take over starting in 2020 and possibly shadow Tracey throughout the process this year
Quorum: 2018/2019 PMA Board, there are eleven (11) voting Board Members. In order to have a quorum, six (6) Board Members must be present.
- NEXT PMA meeting will be September 11, 2019 at 7PM in the HS Library
