Marching Band 2021 Season Information

Anyone grade 8-12 is eligible to become a member.

Do not worry if you are good enough, there is a home for ANY instrumentalist that is interested in joining! We will help you be successful!

You do not need to be enrolled in a music class at N.H.S. to participate.

We rehearse Tuesdays 5:30-8:30 through the summer until camp.

Music camp is required and will take place August 15-20th ~ 9 – 4 P.M.

After Camp we rehearse August 24-26, 31 and September 1 and 2 5:30-8:30

When school starts we rehearse Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30-8:30 and Saturdays as scheduled. (Depending upon football games and competitions/evaluations.)

We have Sunday Competitions/Evaluations on October 17, 24 and 31st.

We will be not be rehearsing/performing Columbus Day weekend this year.

We welcome students that may not play an instrument or would like to learn a new one.

We will be marching in 4 hometown parades weather permitting.

We are scheduled for 5-6 Competition/Evaluations.

This is the year to join because camp is in Norwood and there will not be a several hundred dollar camp fee. There will be a fee for Six Flags/Bus to Six Flags. Once we have an idea on the number of students we will finalize that price.

There is a $150.00 performance fee to participate. (No one will be denied participation based on a financial need.)

Final Date to join the Marching Band will be the evening of August 3rd so we may begin to design choreography so it is ready for Band Camp.
