shall be to foster,
encourage and support the many aspects
of music education in
the Norwood Public School system, to enrich the
scope of student

music and dancing

Annual Jazz Classic, featuring local high school jazz groups, will take place
Thursday, Feb. 11th, 2016 at Norwood HS in the Paul M. Alberta
Performing Arts Center, 245 Nichols St.
award-winning NHS Jazz Ensemble, directed by Steven Conant, will perform along
with invited jazz bands from local schools. The bands will be judged for their
musical skill by professional adjudicators. The Coakley Middle School Jazz Band,
under the direction of Larry Smith, will perform during the intermission
